Clinton didnt make that call several times even after Osama had killed americans...that tells you how much Clinton thought of American lives. He made decisions based on his political gain just like Obama did in Lybia....If it will effect them negatively they dont care about losing American lives.
Timeline makes a difference. Or shall we say, "9/11 changed everything." And you neglect to acknowledge Romney's assertion that he would not enter Pakistan to kill bin Laden.

Do you know how many people were killed under Clinton as compared to 9/11? And I think you neglect to acknowledge that in that interview you are referring to, Romney was talking of a more global attack of terrorist...he also mentioned of the different groups of terror. He also mentioned that when you get Obama there will be another leader to take his place. Look at Obama touting about killing Obama and what has happened...they have continued. So the expenses paid to get one man with no clear objective to get rid of orginizations, I think Romney hit the nail on the head.

That makes no sense. He said exactly what he said and it was about bin Laden.

I see what you mean. Obama played fast and loose with the words...as did Romney. Romney said that going in with or without permission would be an option. However, Romey stated that a candidate running for president shouldn't state that fact.See a problem with Romney saying that...while running for president?:)

List of terrorist attacks under Clinton's watch.
Oct. 12, 2000 - A terrorist bomb damages the destroyer USS Cole in the port of Aden, Yemen, killing 17 sailors and injuring 39.

Aug. 7, 1998 - Terrorist bombs destroy the U.S. embassies in Nairobi, Kenya and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In Nairobi, 12 Americans are among the 291 killed, and over 5,000 are wounded, including 6 Americans. In Dar es Salaam, one U.S. citizen is wounded among the 10 killed and 77 injured.

In response, on August 20 the United States attacked targets in Afghanistan and Sudan with over 75 cruise missiles fired from Navy ships in the Arabian and Red seas. About 60 Tomahawk cruise missiles were fired from warships in the Arabian Sea. Most struck six separate targets in a camp near Khost, Afghanistan. Simultaneously, about 20 cruise missiles were fired from U.S. ships in the Red Sea striking a factory in Khartoum, Sudan, which was suspected of producing components for making chemical weapons.

June 21, 1998 - Rocket-propelled grenades explode near the U.S. embassy in Beirut.

July 27, 1996 - A pipe bomb explodes during the Olympic games in Atlanta, killing one person and wounding 111.

June 25, 1996 - A bomb aboard a fuel truck explodes outside a U.S. air force installation in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. 19 U.S. military personnel are killed in the Khubar Towers housing facility, and 515 are wounded, including 240 Americans.

Nov. 13, 1995 - A car-bomb in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia kills seven people, five of them American military and civilian advisers for National Guard training. The "Tigers of the Gulf," "Islamist Movement for Change," and "Fighting Advocates of God" claim responsibility.

April 19, 1995 - A car bomb destroys the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, killing 168 people and wounding over 600.

February 1993 - A bomb in a van explodes in the underground parking garage in New York's World Trade Center, killing six people and wounding 1,042.

Doesn't that prove that Bush did more than Clinton when it came to protecting us. No matter how small the attacks were under Clinton, they were still attacks regardless

Selective memory or just a disingenuous ass.

2002: U.S. Consulate In Karachi, Pakistan, Attacked 10 Killed, 51 Injured

2004: U.S. Embassy Bombed In Uzbekistan 2 Killed, 9 Injured

2004: Gunmen Stormed U.S. Consulate In Saudi Arabia 8 Killed

2006: Armed Men Attacked U.S. Embassy In Syria 1 Killed, Several Injured

2007: Grenade Launched Into U.S. Embassy In Athens

2008: Rioters Set Fire To U.S. Embassy In Serbia

2008: Ten People Killed In Bombings At U.S. Embassy In Yemen

2012 US Embassy in Benghazi, Libya attacked 4 Killed

Republicans become outraged and suddenly concerned with the safety and security of Americans abroad. NOW they demand investigations.

cia told bush and chaney. no plutonium going to iraq from africa. bush speech writers took that out of his speech. chaney insisted that message stays in. misleading? or lie! general powell got his speech to the united nations from chaneys cheif of staff, scooter liby. powell says he will regret that for the rest of his life. scooter liby went to jail. powell unwittingly lied to the united nations. republicans no democrats involved there. loosers then loosers still.

Not sure you are reading the same transcript Caharrell was refering to...

The quote comes from an Associated Press story on April 26, 2007, about a Romney interview with reporter Liz Sidoti that covered a range of topics. Here’s the related passage: In the interview, Romney also:

Said the country would be safer by only "a small percentage" and would see "a very insignificant increase in safety" if al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden was caught because another terrorist would rise to power. "It's not worth moving heaven and earth spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person," Romney said. Instead, he said he supports a broader strategy to defeat the Islamic jihad movement.
