Retro Pay Update

So the word came down today regarding our retro pay...

Not only has UPS decided to take away the day after Thanksgiving, they have also decided that they will not pay the retro wages. The company will however, offer the following compensation package for all employees regardless if they are in progression or not.

All employees shall receive in lieu of the negotiated pay:

• Ankle Length Socks (6 Pack)
  760-0014-201
  Driver socks with a padded sole, constructed in a durable blend of 85% cotton, 10% nylon, and 5% spandex. UPS Logo embroidered on BOTH sides of the sock.
  Medium = 8-10
  Large = 11-13
  Extra Large = 14-16
  85% Cotton, 10% Nylon, and 5% Spandex
  Each employee will receive (1) six pack of socks for every month the contract was not ratified.

• Frozen Whole Turkey 10 to 32 lbs. | Servings: varies
  Tender and juicy, Butterball Frozen Whole Turkeys are all natural, gluten free and raised without hormones on American farms, giving you the highest quality turkey for your holiday meal.

• Socks will be dispersed in late December 2014 for use in summer 2015.

• Turkeys will arrive on Thursday July 3rd via feeders and will be unloaded and distributed the following Monday July 7th.

They don't care enough about the part-timers to give them the socks they will however offer up the gizzards from all the birds to anyone so interested in receiving them.
