This reminds me of when my kids were really young and both their Mom and I wanted to take them out trick or treating for Halloween. We set an "honesty bowl" filled with candy on our front porch with a sign that said "Please take just one".

They took all of the candy, the sign and the bowl.

I've been bit a lot. I don't mess with dogs anymore. If it's out and looking the least bit aggressive I don't exit the truck
