SR-201 reopens after formic acid spills from delivery truck - KSL

State Route 201 reopened Tuesday afternoon after it was briefly closed when a container holding formic acid fell out of a UPS delivery truck earlier in the day.

Emergency crews responded to a report of a hazmat situation after a container holding approximately 5 liters of formic acid fell out of the delivery truck heading east on S.R. 201 about 11 a.m., Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Todd Royce said.

Royce said the latch of the delivery truck was loose and had opened, allowing the container to fall out of the truck. West Valley Fire Department's hazardous materials response team responded to clean up the spill and neutralize the acidity.

I wonder if ants came in to check out the spill?
