Our last POTUS would probably agree with you.

According to The Atlantic magazine, Mr Trump cancelled a visit to a US cemetery outside Paris in 2018 because he said it was "filled with losers".
The allegations have since been corroborated by two senior military officials in a story by AP news agency.
During a visit to France in 2018, Mr Trump cancelled a visit to the Aise-Marne American Cemetery, and at the time the White House blamed poor weather.
However four sources told The Atlantic he rejected the idea of visiting because the rain would dishevel his hair, and he did not believe it important to honour America's war dead.
The Atlantic...gaaaaaaaaah...Makes the Washington Compost look legit.

I wish all the people who want to abolish these statues would face up to the to the history of the democratic party and their pro slavery and racist policies . Every time you bring it up they say "that was the past" well so are the statues ! This is as current as Senator Byrd of West Virginia a KKK organizer and member who half the bridges ,buildings ,and highways are named after. Let's tear them down.

Yes the Democratic party is racist. If you think the activists who have worked many years to get those statues removed don't know the racist history of the democratic party and don't think right now the democratic party is still racist...... you should read more. Hell man, the black people who are working with Governor blackface Northam know what time it is about the Virginia Democratic party.

Imagine hating black Americans and wanting to let black Americans know they are hated so much that Americans voluntarily put up statues and monuments to anti American traitors and racist slaveholders all over the nation. I mean imagine going to Germany and seeing a bunch of Adolph Hitler statues.... everyone would understand the Germans put those statues up to honor hitler and to show the world they still support hitler's ideology. This is actually what those confederate momuments mean in America mfers like to pretend otherwise but its obviously so.

I can certainly see how that would be upsetting to you. The problem I have is with taking it many steps further. There are those advocating removing all traces of our founding fathers because many of them owned slaves. There are those who even attack Lincoln of all people. They want to completely erase our history which is dangerous because people need to know what went on, warts and all. The people who want this aren't saints themselves, no one is. If we remove all reminders of our history except for what the state deems acceptable we run the risk of having all information filtered by the state with no dissent allowed to what the state is doing. We're seeing that happening now with social platforms. Some may think this is a good idea but will they when the day comes that an all powerful state doesn't like THEIR ideas? Right now there are people in government and in corporations advocating that Trump supporters should be suppressed. We are getting dangerously close to the kind of world Orwell envisioned. And if you don't believe that can happen you should check out what is going on in Australia right now.

Oh cool let's celebrate segregation.
“It is one of those dichotomies that some of the best soldiers in our military were African American, and at the same time, Jim Crowism and ‘separate but equal’ existed,” said Col. Krewasky Salter, who is retired from the military and is a former teacher of military history at West Point and current executive director of the First Division Museum in Wheaton, Illinois. “They represented the hope, faith, resiliency and commitment to what African Americans could achieve.”

It's a celebration of these soldiers and a lesson of our history, not a celebration of segregation. Ttku son.....
