And you're writing this despite ... (a) The Republicans are upset with Obama's positive relationship with unions. E.g. labor-friendly-appointments to the NLRB, letting organizations like the TSA unionize, etc. Republicans hate unions, you do know that, right? (b) Romeny's judicial & arbitrator appointments would've been extreme right-leaning. E.g. opposed to unions. (c) Mitt Romney said & supported "let Detroit go bankrupt" -- a reference to letting GM & Ford undergo a traditional bankruptcy proceeding in which union contracts would be wiped out; Chrysler would've likely liquidated. While the automakers had their problems, and ridiculous union contracts, the freezing of the credit markets is ultimately what caused them to collapse. Republicans supported bailing out the white-collar guys at the banks who made billions raping our economy, though. (d) The Teamsters just negotiated a contract in which they report by 2018, the average FT UPSer will earn $92,000 with no-cost health & welfare benefits. For menial work. With similar jobs paying $30-$40K without benefits. MIT M.B.A.s living in Boston barely earn that kind of compensation. And you believe that Romney would've earned your more? Seriously? Are people really that dumb?
