I clocked out at 5 PM today, we were light. I think I got about 2 hours of OT this week since all the extra routes were put in. We are starting 50 minutes earlier Monday, maybe we will get slammed.

Do you have a split route taking your overflow?

60 hours in 5 days. 70 hours in 8 days.

Drove every bit of that. They tried to tell me I could do more in the yard. Thanks but no thanks.

This past check was awesome. Overtime, Doubletime, and Holiday pay.

However, I've learned that Day Shift peak season in Louisville is a lot harder than Night Shift peak.
Last year was wayy harder than this year is proving to be.

They changed our operation to a 70 hour in 8 days format last week. All those guys who thought they were getting Friday off were disappointed!

Every time we have late trailers that can't be unloaded in time... they're from Mesquite. It just adds on to the next day's crap.

Maybe this might the wrong thread to be on, but I am curious what is the average packages per hour that should be delivered? Or is it all determine on the kind of route that your are on

There is no average PPH for drivers. Our metric is SPORH----Stops Per On Road Hour----and, yes, it does vary from route to route.
