Last week while smoking the route I received a message saying to call the center manager. I replied yes, made a few more stops and called. I was expecting the center manager to say that I was doing a wonderful job, but to my amazement he said there was a customer concern called in about me. Apparently I had given someone the middle finger and shouted some choice words, as I was driving. Now mind you, I'll be the first one to call and say that there was some sort of incident, whether small or big. I went to the CYA school of driving, so that's what i do first and foremost, no matter if I'm in a hurry of not. Well, this customer called and said they wanted to make this a corporate concern because I apparently almost caused a death, or several deaths. After giving my center manager a chance to state the problem, I told him that this incident never occurred. I told him that I hadn't gotten into any incidents at all and didn't know what he was talking about. He chimed back that it sounded like something I would do. I was flabbergasted by his statement, telling him I was being falsely accused. He said, but they have your car number and license plate, to which i replied, "SO", this never happened. Long story, short, I'm going to receive a warning letter for this incident. I promise to God that this never happened and the accusation is false. The best I can come up with is that someone didn't like my driving and concocted this story. Shame on this person! My question to the forum? What should I do/would you do?
