An empty horse trailer came loose from the SUV pulling it down the Indiana Toll Road early Saturday morning near Chesterton before striking a semitrailer truck and killing the semi’s driver, police said.
Julio Zatina, 50 of Bridgeview, Illinois, was driving the semi for a Chicago United Parcel Service facility when he was killed east of Chesterton, Ind., on Interstate 80-90, according to a release from Indiana State Police.
