Trump tests positive for COVID-19

President Donald Trump announced early Friday he and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19.

White House officials said Trump was "feeling mild symptoms" on Friday, hours after the announcement.

The announcement came hours after it was reported that adviser Hope Hicks, with whom he had recently traveled, had been infected.

Vice President Mike Pence and second lady Karen Pence both tested negative.

Outpourings of support and well-wishes for the president have flooded in for the president, 74. In addition to the concerns about the Trumps' health, the positive test results raise many questions about the impact the development could have on the presidential election, which is just 32 days away.

What the left doesn't get is we aren't shocked that the President caught the virus. We assume many will, and get over it, short of having a vaccine. Life has to move on.

Until we reach herd immunity or a vaccine the same number of people will contract the virus.

Here's a running list of who has tested positive and negative for COVID-19 since the president announced his test results:

  • Former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway
  • Trump's Campaign Manager Bill Stepien
  • Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI)
  • NJ Gov. Chris Christie
NEGATIVE:

Joe Biden being the pillar of strength has tested negative for Covid19. America likes Presidents who don’t get Coronavirus. Trump couldn’t handle the sniffles so he got tested. Wimp!
Being weak between the ears does not make you a pillar of strength . It makes you a bumbling fool who doesn't even know how many grandchildren he has . I have family members that are in the medical field some of them work in hospitals and they say that these young kids and millennials are the biggest whining crybabies they've ever seen usually their parents have to go with them and settle them down . And my guess is this would be you if you got the Corona virus :people_crybaby:

"A wealthy prince throws a huge party in his gaudy mansion during an epidemic for his asymptomatic friends while the peasants die. Then the virus shows up and tears through his fancy guests. Familiar? It’s the exact plot of Edgar Allan Poe’s 1842 classic, “Masque of the Red Death”
