UPS discloses long-term expansion plans for Louisville - Business First

United Parcel Service Inc. (NYSE: UPS) eventually plans to build six new warehouses, totaling 1.8 million square feet, along with enough parking to support an additional 1,400 employees at its Supply Chain Campus, near Outer Loop. The package shipping giant disclosed the plans in a recent filing with Louisville Metro Planning and Design Services. A letter enclosed with the plan said there is no schedule to build the warehouses.

The filing asks for approval of the plan by the Louisville Renaissance Zone Corp., which owns 350 acres around Louisville International Airport and seeks to promote airport-compatible commerce.
