To the uninitiated and uneducated and ignorant. Communism/socialism looks like a form of government that will take care of everyone and everyone will be happy. Intellectuals who only read books and never do anything but sit in the faculty lounge, teach the young that this is the best way, sure it’s failed before… “but this time it will succeed because we are more enlightened now”. Every generation seems to go through this cycle and it fails every time, with disastrous amounts of pain and suffering and death.

The difference now: It is mainstreamed(communism). Cronkite, Rather were/are all far left liberals. They just never publicly admitted it. Communism was a bad word/the enemy. Remember......Hollywood was/is full of communist(more than ever) and was purged/exposed by JE Hoover. Hoover was absolutely correct.

Not only in academia......but the average/common working Democrat by voting Democrat supports the liberal/communist/socialist agenda. Probably unaware of the consequences....unable or unwilling to make the connection. The Democrats have been very successful in sewing the seeds of hate through their anti-Trump propaganda.

Remember: Biden won the election by(in reality) about 40,000 votes. Open, unverified mail in ballots allowed enough manipulation to get by.

When folks look around at all the trans nonsense, crime, defund the police, all the unbelievable crap that the Democrats have allowed......it is the responsibility of any Democrat voter.

Our American way of life(freedom,success,security,prosperity,free speech) is directly threatened by any Democrat voter.

And when you look at Ukraine(a socialist country)....that's why Democrats support war.....for it to become the model for our transformation(into socialism).

I own the land. I was a UPS driver and don’t actively farm it.

When my father retired from farming, we started “renting” it to a large farmer that farms next to us. He farms about 3000 acres with the machinery to do it.

Some landowners agree to a certain amount per acre. Instead we split the input costs and sell our own half of the grain. We irrigate all of the land.

When you ask about fallow ground, I assume you mean what we call CRP set aside ground. Yes, we have some acreage in the program that is at the field corners where the irrigation doesn’t hit.

Inputs costs like fertilizer has increased a lot this year, but luckily for us our sharecropper was able to contract at a lower price through the local service company last year.

Corn is at $7.50 a bushel right now. We’ll be fine
