We already know that individual customers are going to experience a FedEx FAIL this Peak, but what about the Big Gun shippers? Who will Memphis pick to overpromise, under-deliver, and disappoint this time around? I can just see the Call Centers for Apple, Amazon, and all the rest of them flooded with irate calls from their customers who didn't get the service they were promised? "Jimmy didn't get his gift by Christmas, and when I call 1-800-GoFedEx, I get an incompetent person who can't even tell me when it might be delivered". Individuals? They are toast. Those Xmas packages won't get delivered until 2014.
