[QUOTE="air_dr, post: 883692, member: 29929"] Why doesn't Sandy Pope have a full slate? hall seems to take almost as much criticism as Hoffa. Sandy has headed the TDU for some time now, so she knows and has worked with a lot of union people. Couldn't and shouldn't she have recruited others to join her in running for IBT office? I am quite puzzled...The poll here on BC has Sandy way in the lead, (though the number of people who have voted is small)...others say she has no chance of winning...I would think that any serious, viable, candidiate would have a full slate...what could she (or anyone) do alone surrounded by other elected officers which are NOT part of "her team." I an beginning to wonder if what is happening here is what I sometimes see in government elections - the incumbent is no good and is disliked by most of the contituents, but there is no real strong alternative in the election, so the rotten incumbent wins, sometimes one election after another.
