With the PO in default, will there soon be great oppurtunity for UPS to take over???

In this day and age,. there is no way to compromise at the heels of Congress. The conservatives hate ANYTHING with the word union attached to it, and since they are a majority in the House of Representatives, that is as far as any improvements for the Post Office and its employees. Their rates are too low. Their service is just as good as ours. Have you ever ordered something on Ebay? Priority Mail packages come quick, cheap and easy. But raising rates in this anti-tax day and age? Yeah, good luck with that. The public bitches and moans when a first class stamp goes up by a dime or nickel. And, oh yeah, my Saturday mail better NOT stop coming. How is the USPS supposed to make progress like that? And one more thing: if the USPS died, do you really think UPS and FED-EX will send mail at post office prices? Yeah, sure thing.</p></blockquote><p></p>
