UPS today announced the results of its 2017 UPS Business Monitor™ Export Index Latin America (BMEI) report. The study focuses on the purchasing behaviors of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), a segment representing more than 90% of companies in Latin America. It reveals insights about importers that will help exporters sell and supply products to this growing sector.

• Establishes a platform to support the creation of innovative new-to-market B2B and B2C products and services enhancing market access, initially between China and the US, with plans for further global market expansion
• Products supported by the joint venture will leverage the parent companies’ networks, product portfolios, technologies and supply chain expertise

UPS (NYSE: UPS) Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) today announced that it has advanced as a Leader in the May 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Third-Party Logistics Providers, (3PL) North America. UPS SCS improved its position on the axis labeled “completeness of vision.”

UPS (NYSE:UPS) today announced construction is underway at its Lenexa, Kansas hub in the nation’s midsection to add 200,000 square feet and more than 42 percent new processing capacity. The facility will total about 430,000 square feet when completed in 2020 with the latest operational technology, processing efficiency and network flexibility.
