Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 2897572" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>That's just it, the assumptions made about what I do with my time.  And good for you that you're able to do all of that.  It was getting painful getting out of bed for me with my knees and nerve pain in my feet.  I had to do something different.  The only way I could afford to do this was by taking an accelerated pension, that goes down to almost nothing in 12 years.  No cabin on a lake, no boat.  This is the best I could come up with and I'm going to Europe because my wife doesn't want to live in Mexico.  All these people being critical have better options.  This is where I'm at and I'm going to defend it because of the sneers.  Says more about them as people than living in Mexico says about me.  But ultimately I'm free, would never go back.  And I think that grinds on them.</p></blockquote><p></p>
