2 taken to hospital after UPS semitruck, dump truck collision on I-15 - St George News
Two men were transported to Beaver Valley Hospital and southbound traffic on Interstate 15 was redirected for several hours after a UPS semitruck and a dump truck collided in Beaver County Wednesday afternoon.
At 4:33 p.m., a triple-trailer UPS semitruck was traveling behind a slow-moving dump truck in the same southbound lane of Interstate 15 near milepost 124 when the semitruck crashed into the back of the dump truck, Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Preston Holgreen said.
The dump truck rolled and landed on its top while the middle UPS semitrailer tipped over into the median of I-15. The rest of the semi’s trailers blocked all southbound lanes as a result of the accident, Holgreen said.
