2022 Harbinger of Things to Come?

By the 2028 presidential election, the Boomers (AKA the broke-ass-Boomers) and Gen X will be completely replaced by Millennials and Zer’s as the predominant voting block.

Were the 2022 midterms a harbinger of things to come?

Biden is terrible and the Republicans still flopped.

Will they have to rebrand?

What will the rebrand look like?

By then Millennials and Zer's will be the ones who are taxed to death paying for all the "free crap" everyone wants now. I hope they enjoy it----

I actually think the Democrats are in trouble come 2024 if the GOP ditches Trump and makes sure McCarthy is Speaker of the House (which may have the effect of tricking Americans into the idea that Biden is incompetent and the GOP should actually be in control). They need to unite to defeat Biden in the next election, and they won't be able to sell that unification to their base or to swing voters if the party is in complete chaos. Americans are in the mood for stability as we've seen in these midterms.

If the party doesn't do these things then I see a long hard road ahead for Republicans.

Nah
I think a lot of it is a lot of people who would have voted red in places that usually vote red moved to places like Florida and South Dakota after all the lockdown/masking nonsense, flipping those areas they left by their absence.

Both Kristi Noem and Ron DeSantis won by SIGNIFICANTLY larger margins than they did 4 years ago. That's not proof of the theory, but it does support it in a way.

Inordinately Right
Depends on how successful the decades of indoctrination from the education industry have been.

Typically as people age and start families they abandon the silly progressivism for the reality of conservatism. But they've managed to demonize motherhood and make child sacrifice a sacrament of their cult of leftism, so who knows at this point.

Voting means absolutely zero, half the country despises the other half, and everyone in Washington plays on the same corrupt team with a different uniform and until the bullets are flying nothing will change next question

Demographics are destiny, 2016 was a fluke

Hispanics like big leftist government (and occasionally right wing death squads to balance it back ayyy lmao) so that's what we'll begin to have until we end up like everywhere else in Latin America:
  • Corruption
  • Rampant gang violence
  • Gigantic wealth inequality
