I wasn't big on filling out precautionary injury reports. Towards the end of my 38 year career, I had a lot of bumps and bruises, pulls, etc, mostly related to being older. Having said that, if I thought there was even a chance it might come back and be a lost time, dr visit thing I would at least mention something to the dispatcher. "Hey, I tripped over a dolly tonight. I'm a little sore, but I feel ok." kinda thing. My last year, I tore my rotator cuff. It hurt, but the pain subsided. I didn't even mention it. Overnight, I couldn't even raise my arm. I called in the next day. When I told them I hurt it at work, the first thing they asked me was how come I didn't report it at the time. I only missed work 2 times in my career for injuries incurred at work, but both required surgery and extensive time off. They really didn't doubt me, but I would report stuff just in case.
