I am also a driver for a delivery service provider(DSP) contracted with Amazon. There are 4 or 5 other DSPs at my warehouse and pay similarly. I get paid $167 a day and work 4-5 days a week with the 5th being OT. Medical and dental options are decent. Training was very basic and only took a few days. I had my own full route within a week. Routes are presorted when we come in but we load our own vans. On a typical day I come in at 7-7:30, begin my first stop by 9:45, and finish my last anywhere between 3-5. I answer to my DSP's manager and dispatchers. Overall I enjoy the job on most days. I think the pay is good for the work and I enjoy the exercise and being able to work independently. I'm not sure how long I will stay though since I am still young and this job is pretty dead-end.
