There was a story on the morning news about a possible deal between Amazon and 7-11. Lockers are being installed at Seattle-area 7-11's with the rumor being that customers can request delivery of their Amazon packages to their favorite 7-11 location.

Mcdonalds should do this. Or, Burger King. That flame broiled smell get me whenever drive by one. It's like driving by a steak house. The smell is intoxicating!

blah, why 7-11's?

keep them at local ups or fedex stores, or even kiosks at usps where customers have 24-hour access to those lockers & a 24/7 survellance camera to oversee them

I got excited by the title of the thread and thought maybe I could get Slurpees without even having to leave my couch and they would be delivered to me. DAMN!!!!

Interesting concept.
When I lived in Houston, Tx, the nickname for a 7Eleven was the "Stop and Rob".
I have not seen an operating 7Eleven-( many boarded over)- in decades.
Once, it was the largest convenience store chain down here.
Now it is almost nonexistent.

Amazon scares me. They are the only people who could create a shipping company that could really cut into UPS business. They are Smart Smart Smart.
