Look. Republicans have demonized Obamacare as socialist. Guess what’s popular ever since people realized that republicans were serious about repealing it. And what is the “capitalist” replacement for Obamacare? Well, the republicans never really got around to that. So is it any wonder that socialism “looks good” to so many Americans?
Of course socialism looks good. Let's see where we stand in ten years with it and the New Green Deal if that's actually implemented. The problem with socialism is sustainability, but it's a real siren's song to those who work hard with little to show for it.

It’s not free. It’s paid for by taxes. Maybe people are deciding that they would like it spread around a little more evenly. And if a generation of AOC’s get elected, that called democracy.
That's called a disaster.
Maybe it’s time to address capitalism’s flaws. Maybe her “indoctrination” will lead to some serious reform.
Forget the extremes like Venezuela. Look at Greece. They came up with fantastic ideas to give all of their citizens a better life. Only soon they found they couldn't pay for it all and started borrowing. And soon found they couldn't make those payments. The Green New Deal isn't sustainable and it's not even a good idea. China's economy is still smaller than our's and yet they have twice the pollution. Most of the world's most polluted cities are in China and India. No matter what we do we can't stop the train wreck that's coming if indeed it's coming. Or possibly it could be that global warming is about implementing socialism in the U.S.. Either way, destroying our economy with what she wants in the NGD when it won't save the planet at all is ridiculous.

Which you fully participate in. The reason why, amongst others, that socialism won't work is guys like you talk a good game, but you won't equally share with your own employees the fruits of your labor. If the U.S. is to lead by example to the rest of the world in hopes of getting them to clean up their act then you should be a shining example to the rest of us of how you think capitalism is horrible and that you are going to share all that you make equally with your employees. So what if you're the boss with more responsibility? That's just your job. You and they are equals and deserve an equal share. Come on now, you know how badly you want to do this!

If you make considerably more than your drivers you can be much, much, more generous to them. You will just have settle for less because business is all about everyone getting an equal share. At least in socialism it is. Capitalism is exploitive, can't have that.
