So the Holy Spirit is impotent?

John 14:15-17 15 “If you love me, you will obey my commandments. 16 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper who will be with you forever. 17 That helper is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept him, because it doesn’t see or know him. You know him, because he lives with you and will be in you.

Your faith has a huge hole in it.
Nope. Not at all.
How is the Holy Spirit in you? There is only one.
How is it that thousands of people claim He is literally in them?
The scripture teaches many things are “in” each other.
God is in you.
Jesus is in you.
The Holy Spirit is in you.
The word is in you.
I’ve just got no room left if it was all a literal indwelling.
God is in Jesus and Jesus is in Gods. Literal? No.
No doubt all are in you. Not in a literal sense but in a represented sense. I’m “in” both my sons but not literal.

Well boys chew on this . A copyrighted story out tonight from the NYT and yes you can dismiss it but can you disprove it, but according to the story you want to know what the vaccine that saved Dear Leader's life was developed from? .. Aborted fetal tissue.

ah yes the new york times quoting unnamed sources or one unnamed source. You're probably the unnamed source creating your next reference.

They can use one verse or any number of verses to support their self righteous point of view due to the fact that no one was alive back when those texts were written is still around today who can confirm it's present day interpretation as being the correct one. That gives the individual complete freedom to use it in any manner he or she chooses to justify his or her actions and or point of view as being morally just .

There is a story in the first half of the Bible that relates Elijah's experience of hearing God speak to him. 1 Kings chapter 19 relates the story:

"And the word of the LORD came to him: “What are you doing here, Elijah?” He replied, “I have been very zealous for the LORD God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.” The LORD said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by.”

Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” (1 Kings 19, NIV)
Elijah was one of the prophets the Hebrew writer speaks of.
The final revelation from God is in your hand. God has given us all the word. He speaks through it.
There is no more need for whispers.
If you believe he still does, can you give the passage that teaches that?

It would appear that you are completely ignorant of the fact that not every person uses the same bible you do and the whole world is not Christian.

What if the person is hard of hearing or can't hear anything period even if they turn their state of the art hearing aid up as loud as it will go?
“Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand."
Deaf people can read.
There are no whispers . Don't worry.

Old Man Jingles

Rat out of a cage
Doesn't appear that your bible has been very effective these days when it comes to addressing the ills you speak of. And it's for the simple reason that a person can take any passage from any one of the many countless versions of the "bible" and use it to support whatever self righteous point of view they want. God said this or Jesus said that. No, it's what that person is saying himself or herself . They just need just a third party and more if they can get them to help support their viewpoint despite the fact that we never hear anything these days from God or Jesus directly.
Where did you get the idea that the Bible says 'God, Son or Holy Ghost' would cure whatever ills are present?
The Bible and the Trinity provides support for whatever befalls the person that 'knows' their God.

Civilizations have spent the last 8000+ years destroying each other over the question of whose god is the true god and who loves him more. Even today religious wars are being fought all over the world and Christians are in the eyes of Muslims are considered "infidels" who must be converted or be slain.

And as a free agent sinner I hold them both in contempt given that their contract offers were insulting. I will NEVER go to camp as a UFA or as a non roster invitee. On the other hand while I haven't had a chance to study it thoroughly the offer that came in today from the Sikh's doesn't look too bad. Clearly worth a closer look.

People will find a reason to fight.
Ridiculously presumptuous of you to assume if not for religion people would get along.

Silly naive stuff you preach buddy.
Liberalism is a dumb cult.
