Amy Coney Barrett

The woman is a liberal. 7 kids, 2 adopted (from Haiti). Secondly, she’s a woman. No woman is reversing Roe v. Wade. A dumb pick by an idiot President. She went to college and graduated. You right wingers hate education.
Both Kavanaugh and Gorsuch have voted liberal. They’ve both made right wingers and Trump look silly for picking them. America is a liberal country.
Lol.

Glad we are in agreement that we should vote ACB in ASAP.

I'm not sure what I feel about this woman. I am not a conservative, but she says she will vote according to the constitution - which would be great. Both Kavanaugh and Gorsuch have surprised me on their votes in the past. They don't care about liberal vs conservative and just vote on what is written. I always like RBG for her ability to stand up and protect women's rights, but at the same time many of her opinions came across as how she feels about an issue and not how it is written as law. More so in the past 10 years.

I still think the only reason the Republicans didn't want to vote on a Supreme Court justice in 2016 is they didn't want to have to 'No' to confirm someone who was very qualified and liked by both sides. Then they'd be questioned why they didn't confirm someone who was obviously a good choice, hurting their reputations. It's still hypocritical for the Republicans to do this now, but they obviously don't care. The Republicans would have all voted no on Garland right before the election, just as all the Democrats will vote no for Barrett without this "no voting this close to an election year" BS. But just turning down a potential justice just because he/she was chosen by a President that is a different party is stupid. You need to vote based on their answers to their questions. And no attacking like they did with Kavanaugh - ask adult questions and actually listen to the answers.
Democrats will all vote no because she has written that the ACA should be thrown out. She wants to strip millions of Americans of their health insurance during a pandemic. Trump tweeted about it today, that’s his plan.

Both parties desire control. Such is the nature of politics. If I hadn't witnessed full blown communism coming out of the universities, black supremacists attacking random elderly whites, rioting and destroying American cities, taking cities hostage and demanding reparations, then I'd think we could play the game nicer. Unfortunately, we live in a time where inbred leftists are literally calling for "no borders no wall no USA at all". To that degree, I say now isn't really the time to be fair. Because if the system can't get things under control they are guaranteeing a war just like what's happening in Iraq with different gangs fighting for power. Which don't get me wrong, many of us would be fine with a war too. But it will disrupt the entire system for decades

That’s why Republicans are losing this election and they know it. It’s the reason they are rushing the nomination.

Hedging their bets. Suppose Trump wins but loses the Senate, then what they are doing makes perfect sense... a democrat Senate would vote down whoever he chooses. Or if Biden wins and they keep the Senate then this will drag out too. They have Senate now so move forward and do it... this isn't feel bad and give the other side a turn. If it wasn't meant to be then last midterm GOP would have lost the Senate... didn't happen though.

Lol she reminds me of Jan from The Office

Reminds me of actress Laura Linney, who I think should play the role of ACB if one of the liberally-slanted premium TV networks decides to make a fictional show or movie about how she had RGB offed right before the election and drinks the blood of the un-aborted liberal firstborn.

I really do have to wonder whats up with the two kids from Haiti. I mean, theres millions of American kids up for adoption. Why Haiti?

I like to think she believes kids in Haiti don't have the same kind of opportunity to get ahead and move up in the world that kids of any socioeconomic class in the US do.

There are enough kids needing homes and parents in America. We don’t need to bring in foreign homeless kids and parents. Signed a Republican. Was she funded by US taxpayers to adopt?

Amen Brother....at the ballot box or on the battlefield. Let's settle it forever. Until ever last one has left or is dead.
