Re: Any Online DIAD III Training Materials You Guys Know About? To Help the Peak Newb Thank you. I appreciate your quick response. Hey Upstate, Although completely unrelated I wanted to mention that I enjoyed (and have to agree with) your replies to the Chicago poster looking for answers regarding Internships. Sadly, it seems to be the way of things with a great deal of young people these days. Their lack of basic common sense seems further complicated with either a substandard education, or an inability to hold a decent grasp of rudimentary fundamentals in regard to general business. As detail oriented as coding tends to be, I can only shudder to think of the critical errors that anything written by that person would contain in their programming. Although a proficiency in spelling is not essential to writing programming code, it is quite beneficial. Besides having a tendency to be less buggy it also does illustrate the mindset of the individual and their good habits when forming any serious structured, intelligent, detail-driven thought. Furthermore, the inability to utilize common tools readily available to offset a glaring weakness (such as spelling) when requesting help and advice seems like youthful arrogance (or perhaps it is simple apathy). Once he ignored your advice for what you were trying to give it seems to have turned into a series of insults. Regardless, I think TechGrrl was dead on in her responses right along side of you as well. Just my two cents as an old IT Executive Professional. Thanks again.
