I guess it would be weird to someone who has not read all the related threads on how drivers invest and how much they have accrued, as I have, over the past 8yrs. It is weird when I talk to 25yr drivers in my center who do not even have $50,000.00 in their 401k. The majority fall into the classic debt load over assets, which is the equation of net worth. It is the basic 80/20 rule. The very top percentile average, of long term UPS drivers, save, roughly, $10,000 for every year of service for retirement. Many go into retirement with debt, which affects the equation of net worth. I was being very generous saying I having only twice the average. Tuff titties if you, or anyone else, is offended by my taking personal responsibility for my financial future. I was born poor and married poor. Through study and work ,"I ain't po, no mo", and I plan to keep it that way. There is a beauty in being an old man. You can just look and listen to smug ass punks, and just smile. Nationwide, in the USA, the average American at the age of 55yrs old has a net worth of only $77,000.00. Your anal--ogy smells more like envy.
