Message: <blockquote data-quote="wkmac" data-source="post: 1914908" data-attributes="member: 2189"><p>Ben Carson opines that the pyramids were built by Israelites and used for grain storage.  Put aside the grain storage for now, (it doesn't have any basis in fact) but could the Israelites have built the pyramids?  The best dating by Egyptologists has the first pyramids built near Memphis around 2600 BCE and the Giza pyramids built around 2500 BCE.  If we then pick up our bibles and use the genealogy record contained within we would soon discover this period above corresponds to the time of Noah and the great flood as opposed to during the time of Joseph (1800 BCE) and his place in Egyptian history according to the bible.  This also raises the question of how all this manpower to build the pyramids could exist during a 100 year period in which a global flood occurred leaving only 6 humans alive in its aftermath?</p></blockquote><p></p>
