What have I done? OK so its possible to have a LOT of favorite movies, and to be honest every movie mentioned so far has good merit.
I submit that we could go a step further and explain why and how the movie affected you ...moreluck...you still owe this thread 4 picks...

The Shining, The Sixth Sense (cause I didn't see it coming and it's a lot better movie than "SAW"), One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest (Although the book is so much better), Shrek (even the soundtrack is cool), Batman Begins (because that the way he's supposed to be, not a superhero, just a bad a** guy trained by the best in the world to fight but also with enough money to buy any technology he wants!), Apocalypse Now (the scene at the beginning as he spins in bed with "The End" by The Doors playing in the background has been called the best 3 minutes in movies!) and a lot of others where the movie makes sense, the acting is great, and you can at least "suspend disbelief" long enough for the movie to scare you and make you believe even if its only for the two hours you're there!
