I think America used to see great public schools, stop notch roads, bridges, park, playgrounds, free college or nearly free college educations as a good for America as a whole.   One of the main thing that slashing taxes did was make us not invest in Americans citizens like we used to do.I know the vast majority of Americans want that investment.
