That is why it is so important to select a VP nominee that is capable of stepping into his shoes as President.
Amy Klobuchar is a capable candidate as is Kamela Harris.
Stacey Abrams is clearly not the right person to select IMO.

The only reason the divisiveness is hard on the country is that the left has dragged the democrats so far off the deep end that a moderate would look like an extreme right winger. Trump is simply using the left's tactics against them, and their insane response to Trump is revealing them for the absolutely unreasonable people they are. If that's what it takes to get things back on an even keel, I can put up with the current level of difficulty for as long as it takes.
