Out to dinner with the wife after a hot sticky day of delivering.
You guys trying to work things out?
(BTW, kudos on the rock on her ring finger)
<Speaking of busybodies.>
Yeah I was out looking for apartments a couple of months ago then one morning I woke up and she was holding my hand. We've been working on things since. Not fixed by any means but workin' on it.
I know the feeling. I thought I was going to be looking for a place 6 months ago but we seem to be back on track of keeping things together.
This reminds me. Coming up on 31 years. Apparently I'm a man of great tolerance.
Persevere through the tough times. We had some rough times earlier in our marriage when I didn't know if we were going to be able to make it. But we didn't give up, and as long as you keep hanging in there anything can happen.
I once knew a guy that had been married 5 times. He believed in marriage alright, but didn't believe in sticking it out when things got rocky, as they do for all if us. Haven't talked to him in years, but somehow I doubt he's changed. I wish you and your wife the best.
If you are buying her rocks like that she would be a fool to give you up.
Your wife has man hands.
It's amazing how the seemingly smallest of gestures, reaching out , & holding your hand, can mean so much.
Good luck. Hopefully it continues going in this direction.
Title got me in.
