As far as bigger and fancier ships I think that’s a matter of opinion, all the major cruise lines, Carnival, Princess, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and others have giant cruise ships and the decorating and style would be a matter of taste.</span></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size: 12px"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">Our favorite cruise line for a while has been Celebrity as it is a little less of a party ship and was know for having better food and being a little more understated. However, Celebrity lost their chef and their food (I've heard) isn't what it used to be. Carnival on the other hand has improved their food... </span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="font-size: 12px"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">I did think the Valor was a nice ship and it is not their biggest fleet/class of ship, we had over 3400 guests on board and looking at the capacity for that ship at 3100, no wonder it felt crowded! <img src="/community/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/FeltTip/peaceful.png" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":peaceful:" title="Peaceful :peaceful:" data-shortname=":peaceful:" /></span></span></p></blockquote><p></p>
