Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 6083567" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>It's a required covering for Muslim girls in public.  But those particular girls live in England.  So while required inside their private Muslim school the teacher can only encourage them to wear it outside of school.  At least he is seeing that they get an education.  In strict Muslim countries girls either don't receive an education or they are limited to basics.  You won't find women in positions of authority over men in those countries.  But in England they'd be at a severe disadvantage if not given a good education because of the cost of living and the much more advanced economy.</p></blockquote><p></p>
