It can also go up for labor manager. Here my center manager once agreed to pay a grievance then he said his boss didn't aprove it. So now, to save each others time I just give to our BA so it can go straight upstairs to resolve it.

Any agreement by both parties, company and Union, at any level is binding to both parties. If he agreed as did you the grievance should have been paid, regardless of who above objected. That's when the center manager gets his A** kicked from above!!

A plus for sarcasim. What good is a center manager anyway? From what I read on here they can't make any desissions for themselves now days anyway.------- P. S. The first few years I worked at UPS our center was ran 3 out of 5 days of the week by a "lead driver" who got 10 cents more an hour than the rest of us and we managed just fine.
