Some of what influences the tides is the gravitational pull of the moon and other bodies in the solar system, some is the spinning of the Earth. Sea level is the average level of the sea. They have been promising sea level rises and dissapearing ice caps for 30 plus years, and every time we meet the deadline for said events, the deadline gets pushed out another 5 to 10 years. You can relax, we have until the 2030's before the next deadline. Tuvalu has actually grown, and not been overtaken by rising sea levels.</p></blockquote><p></p>
