If it's true and I think it is, in this day and time, why the need to still hide this from being fact? From modern attitudes, I'd think they'd want to celebrate this as the FBI being way ahead of the times.

Interesting. Hoover was undeniably gay, had a long-term lover, and had his FBI agents set-up trysts with young boys. All the while, he persecuted gays. That would be the definition of hypocrisy, wouldn't it? Apparently, he also liked to dress in drag. That must have been a sight. Sounds like a good God-loving Republican to me. Kind of like Marcus Bachmann.
