If the senate is retrained hopefully the country can avoid court packing, new states and draconian laws. Joe Biden will be historically unpopular, as his family scandals aren't going away, and his dementia will only get worse. Kamala is widely hated and, if inserted as a Biden replacement, will be despised more than Obama was. Maybe regular moderate voters will see how bad this whole inserted President thing was in real time finally.

The vast majority of America does not want an electoral college. Your side relies on voter suppression, tries to discount and throw out votes from anywhere inconvenient and cries about how unfair having a fair election is and want your political opponents arrested.
