45 years ago Republican operatives broke into the DNC office. Today Democrat and Republican operatives opposed to the Trump presidency worked behind the scenes to create a phony narrative about Russian collusion with the Trump campaign. Much hay has been made on this forum about the resulting arrests from the Mueller investigation, none of which involved Trump or his campaign. Arrests are about to happen involving various actors who used unverified documents as a pretense to spy on The Trump campaign and to leak salacious details to the media in hopes of derailing Trump's presidency. If you think they aren't serious about this keep in mind that the DOJ IG doesn't have prosecutory power but the Federal prosecutor newly appointed to investigate how this whole situation started certainly does. And in the last few days Comey, McCabe, Clapper, Brennan, and others have started pointing fingers at each other and others. You folks have been so certain that Trump did everything they were claiming, and can't seem to grasp you were manipulated into believing a pack of lies. I understand your objections to Trump. He's the total opposite of how you think a government should operate. But these behind the scenes guys used that against you, whipping up liberal sentiment in hopes that Congress would impeach and remove him to make you happy. The moral of this story? Put up a legitimate candidate as your nominee and if you lose accept the results as graciously as you expect the other side to if you win. Otherwise our democracy won't continue if this division gets exploited to the point of no return.
