Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 4351935" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>Except you don't know just how virulent this virus is because a state controlled media is only saying what the Communist Party wants it to say.  They have never quarantined so many people so quickly so as a clue I'd say they are taking this very seriously.  Flu is obviously much more prevalent because it has been around for a long time.  That has also allowed the general population to develop a bit of immunity to it.  Most deaths from the flu are from the elderly and very young.  If the Chinese government thinks more than 50 million people should be in lockdown than I think it should be taken seriously until it runs it's course.</p></blockquote><p></p>
