The other "studies" they reference to support their claims that masks help when worn by sick people are "observational". Observational studies are not sufficient to inform conclusions. Observation is the first step in the scientific method. Anyone who thinks an observation is the same as rigorous scientific testing has no idea what they are talking about, and that is how you weed out the fake experts from the real ones.</blockquote>
