What if they killed them for medical experiments?

I mean the death penalty but this came to mind

See, you attack the U.S. while giving China a pass. Saw some expert on China say that they execute between 12,000 and 24,000 prisoners annually. They have most of the men of one ethnic group imprisoned. And China isn't 3rd World. And that's no excuse to do what they're doing anyways.

Executions in the States involve someone who planned out and performed a murder of another. For that they forfeit their life if caught and it's determined they did that in court. Now compare that to the Chinese summarily executing people and even harvesting their organs to sell.
Lol and now you’re condemning the cruelty of foreign prisons. How ironic. Maybe not a great idea after all to send American citizens to foreign prisons, huh?

No one is talking about sending them to China. That maximum security prison in El Salvador is cleaner and safer than American prisons. But I guess you're worried homicidal maniacs won't have access to tv and the Internet.

Who needs jurisdiction? El Salvador is willing to warehouse them for a lot less money than it costs in the U.S.
I’m willing to vote Democrat if that’s a line the Republicans decide they’re willing to cross.

Just saying. I’m not a centrist. But we do not surrender our sovereignty over our prisons for our citizens to a third world country. Period.

I agree with you on very little.
That’s ok not everyone agrees on everything
Cannot stress how little.
Hmm Ok…

@BadIdeaGuy tempted to continue further: “no seriously, I agree with you on so little things, I can not emphasize enough how little I agree with you, I could fill an encyclopedia with all the things I disagree with you on, there are so few things I agree with you on I can’t even think of them”

Damn man ok where is this going
But I’m with you 100% on this.
Oh ok nice, Well that’s cool

In all seriousness though, relieved and glad to see a Trump supporter say that

Our prisons are dangerous places full of drugs, violence, and rape. If it can be demonstrated that the prison in question is much safer, and is clean, and our most violent criminals can be housed there for much less money, would you consider it? Highly likely that Trump was just tweaking noses bringing this up. El Salvador went from the highest murder rate in the world to even lower than the U.S. with this facility. Whether we even consider this or not, I think a similar facility in the U.S. housing the worst of the worst using corrections techniques developed by El Salvador would be a great idea.

Adopt techniques from their prisons? Sure

I will not support any other country having jurisdiction over US citizens. The money is irrelevant to the conversation as far as I’m concerned.

Only the USA should have authority over US inmates.

That's fine. I don't have a problem putting people who did something so heinous that they got life without parole in another country's prison for hire. If they did what they do in El Salvador here the liberals would be screaming. What do they do? Under observation at all times. 20 men to a cell. No tv, no internet, only allowed to read the Bible. Metal shelves to sleep on, no bedding. Lights on all the time. Sure, sounds cruel but there's no drugs, no rape. No spending time on the internet. Our lifers might as well be at a spa. But this is all academic because it'll never fly. Just tired of Democrats letting criminals right back on the street with no bail. Of letting seriously bad people into the country unvetted resulting in murders and rapes. Would love to see fear in their eyes knowing they may end up in such a restrictive facility.

Your post was referring to the democrat politicians choosing poor policy.

And there is a massive difference between having no sympathy, and wishing fear upon someone.
I want potential criminals willing to commit great harm fear the consequences of their actions so much that they choose not to. Make it known that if you murder someone in the 1st degree in the U.S. and get the death penalty or life without parole then this facility is where you go. As a matter of fact if we put them in such a facility then I'd be happy to do away with the death penalty. We coddle criminals too much.

Wait, which is it? I thought American prisons were super dangerous places full of drugs and violence and rape and they would be safer in a third world prison.

But now you’re saying they got it too easy and it’s like they’re living in a spa
If you have a lifer sitting in his cell surfing the internet then he has it too easy.
