If a part-timer is making $20.99 per hour, they will get a one cent raise and then $2.00 over 5 years? That can't be right! Please tell I'm wrong!

You're wrong.

A $20.99 guy gets $2.75, up front and at least $7.50 over the next four years. Most likely, a $20.99 guy gets $3.75 up front and $8.50 total over the next four years. Potentially, a $20.99 guy gets $4.25 up front and $9.00 over the life of the contract.
