I'm looking to apply at UPS which says its for the day shift between 11:30am and 5:00pm. But on the same page it says that it's for 3 1/2 - 4 hours and typically between 17 1/2 - 20 hours per week. Am I missing something here? From 11:30a - 5p is 5 1/2 hours. Is this shift different than the others in that I can make a little extra than the other shifts can? Also what is the difference between shifts? I've read(while searching for an answer to my question) on these forums that the early morning guys get paid $1 more, because it's "skilled" work, does that mean that the rest of the shifts are different in what you do? Can anyone give me examples of the pros and cons to each different shift at UPS? Thanks ahead of time, and I'm sorry for wasting anyones time. I really did try to do a search on this subject, but between the 30 second limit between searches and not finding anything, I figured I'd just ask.
