Our Hall is about 4, 4.5 hours away, we have a couple other Teamster locals minutes away, has anyone ever heard of a building petitioning to change locals??

I believe local unions have charters. Meaning they only organize and represent certain crafts(types of jobs). So you can have different teamster locals but they have a certain charter.

For instance my local doesn't have construction.
