Objective truth is the destination, science is the best vehicle we currently have to move us down the road of understanding towards the destination. The closer we get to objective truth, however, the less science seems to be able to move us closer. But perhaps that is just a limitation of humanity, and not science itself. Perhaps human understanding and objective truth are an asymptotic relationship.
