I tipped my Preloader this morning, it flipped him out. He has been working there several years and it was his first tip. We have a lot of tight wad drivers I guess. The Helper I worked with since the end of October pulled the third straight no show today. so I fired her and kept her tip. I had three different Helpers the last three days. For the most part of this Peak, our volume seemed to be down and the Preload wrapped up on time. We just had a couple of days where we had a late plane or trailer. But today was different. Thousands of closed and hold packages were sent down my belt during the middle of the sort with no trailer or place to put them. When I got there at 6AM, the belt was backed halfway up with boxes falling everywhere. It was totally insane, the belt was buried. EAMS were light, so I worked the Preload for two hours trying to get it cleaned up. We has some big District Suits walk the belt about 7:30 and one of them said something like "What a clusterf***"! This same thing happened Thanksgiving. Seems like someone needs to learn a lesson here.
