Indeed. But it's the timing of the Trump posts/outbursts by fish that I'm pointing to.

Only a couple days left before the potential derailment of the entire Democratic agenda. And invoking Trump seems to be the one thing Democrats think might help McAuliffe eke out a win and prevent that from happening.

Doesn't seem to be what Kamala was saying during her stump speech for McAuliffe in Norfolk last night. And Manchin is right next door in West Virginia. The second strongest Trump state by vote percentage in the country last year.

You haven't noticed the Democratic infighting? The moderates are realizing they'll have a tough time getting reelected and are balking at the progressive spending. The progressives are stalling the infrastructure bill because they aren't getting the spending they want on the other bill.

Yes. I’ve noticed that. What I was saying was that last I heard about 2 nights ago Manchin and Sinema were close to getting on board. Could be it’s changed since then. Still guessing it happens in the end.

I think they're probably in a holding pattern until they see what happens on Tuesday night.

They're whittling the bill down to where M & S will find it acceptable. AOC and friends find that unacceptable. The Republicans don't even have to obstruct.
