Beijing Ben. Nice.
i dont think your logic holds
i understand your disgust with identity politics. liberals have attached themselves to it, and have done nothing for economic justice.
the idea that you have to live in the west to criticize the west or you are a traitor is ridiculousChina is an ally of Iran. And if the show is based in Beijing it obviously has to peddle the viewpoint of the CCP dictatorship. You like and agree with that viewpoint so it’s not an issue for you. But it does involve a lot of made up baloney.
the idea that you have to live in the west to criticize the west or you are a traitor is ridiculous
so you think ben norton went to china to do whatever china tells him to?You don’t. But you do have to peddle whatever the CCP dictatorship wants you to when your show is based in Beijing.
so you think ben norton went to china to do whatever china tells him to?
i dont think thats how it works my friend. theres stuff he might not say which would be a lie of omission. for example if his show was just about criticizing china, then he would have problems id guess. but as long as he doesnt say those things, he probably has lots of freedom to say what he wants about the west.Doesn’t matter why he went to China. He does have to do whatever the CCP dictatorship tells him to. There’s no option not to.

so you think the dictatorship says the exact same things he saying? He has the freedom to say what he wants in Beijing so long as it continues to be completely in line with the CCP dictatorship. That wouldn't be a problem for you. And it probably isn't for him. But it is obvious CCP slop.
