Justice and the FBI could easily withhold all the child pornography. Justice and the FBI could redact victims’ personal information. And then they could release the Epstein documents."

One last point about the Journal piece. Here are its final two paragraphs:

On July 9, after ABC News reached out to the White House about Bondi’s briefing to the president, Bongino and Bondi clashed in a meeting in which Bondi alleged that Bongino secretly provided information to the media to damage her reputation, people familiar with the meeting said.
Bongino in turn exploded about Bondi, his face red, and called her a liar, a senior administration official said.

So the attorney general and the deputy director of the FBI are screaming at each other. A “senior administration official” is telling the Wall Street Journal all about it. And the president is personally involved in decisions not to release information containing reports about his own behavior.

Meanwhile, the public is paying attention.

We have no way of knowing just what exactly Trump participated in before he ended his friendship with Epstein. Obviously being friends with him and for so long is enough to get himself smeared by the Press and partisan Democrats. But it's telling that when it was widely known that Bill Clinton also had a long friendship with Epstein, and when it was discovered in Ashley Biden's diary that she took showers with her father when she was 9, the complicit liberal media and even folks here downplayed it. If it can be proven that Trump molested children then I hope he resigns. Until then I'm going to assume that his relationship with Epstein was about a couple of multimillionaires making the bar scene in NYC back when Epstein was not regarded as he is now and had close ties to a who's who of celebrities and wealthy businessmen. Trump distanced himself from Epstein years before Epstein's first trial. Who else did?

Garland is a stickler for rules and wasn’t going to just release information because it’s out of bounds for the DOJ to do so.

MAGA Republicans squawked about releasing the Epstein files to get elected and there’s technically nothing stopping POTUS from releasing non-grand jury documents.

So what’s it gonna be, MAGA? Gonna finally decide the rules should be adhered to? lol

Stickler for rules huh? You mean like when he let angry protesters gather outside the homes of SCOTUS justices in violation of Federal law? You mean like when Federal prosecutors tried to sneak a sweetheart deal for Hunter Biden past the trial judge? Maybe you're referring to him saying in a memo that parents protesting at school board meetings were domestic terrorists? No constitutional rights violations there huh?
